The Committee on Finance and Banking recommends that the Parliament forwards the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On the National Bank of Ukraine" (re Actions to be taken to secure Protection of Customers' Rights) for further Drafting

The Bill (Reg. No.4024) defines the concept "a consumer of Bank´s services", specifies the responsibility of the National Bank before other banks, determines the authorities of the Council and the Board of the National Bank, specifies the procedure, under which the acts of the National Bank come into force and are promulgated.

The Bill also imposes extra restrictions concerning members of the Council of the National Bank.
